Rainy day photos from our recent Slowjourn to Bagdad Primary where Slow Food Hobart have assisted with a grant to develop their gardens further . We also visited Moonah Primary’s Stephanie Alexander’s Kitchen Garden where the students cooked for us a  delicious morning tea.

We were then taken on a tour of their new kitchen facility and garden coordinated by Tino Carnivale. Ange Meizetis, the Principal spoke about the delight, focussed learning and opportunity for their school community through the garden and the kitchen. All supported by wonderful volunteers, students, teachers and service organisations and businesses.
